SO YOU AUDITIONED FOR AVB WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Casting for The Nutcracker will be posted on/by Sept. 22

Look for your name or your dancer’s name in the casting. Casting is listed in order of appearance, so it let’s you know when your dancer will appear in the show. Learn the name of the group in which your dancer is cast - for example: Party Kids
Scroll down to the bottom of this page to find the Rehearsal Schedule. Click on it.
You will see the schedule. All rehearsals are at Dance Magic Studios Lancaster until the week of the performance. The Theater schedule may not be published yet. And the full rehearsal schedule is being finalized.
Find the time that your group rehearses. It should be the same time every Saturday.
Not all groups will begin rehearsing right away.
Any dancer who chooses to decline a role must do so prior to the start of rehearsals.
Please wear appropriate dancewear including shoes to rehearsal. All dancers must have their hair secured away from their face for rehearsals.
All dancers are allowed 2 absences from rehearsals. If a dancer is sick, please stay home. If you are unable to attend rehearsal, a notification via band is welcome.
We us the app called BAND to communicate in addition to our website. Here is the link ~ https://www.band.us/en There is a phone app as well. Download it and look for Antelope Valley Ballet. Ask to join. Out band is not open to just anyone because children are involved. There will be questions you need to answer to join. Kathleen Burnett verifies everyone on there.
